It’s been well over a minute since I’ve done any dyeing. After my walk to Webs left me feeling empty, I decided to pull out the supplies and see what I have on hand to work with. The dye notebook with samples is giving me the much-needed inspiration. I want to spin outside and I really want to have something special. For that kind of special, I have to make it myself.
Problem solved.
All of the surfaces in the kitchen are covered in heavy plastic trash bags.
I also found a box of new dye bottles from back when we lived in Manchester, Connecticut. That apartment was too small for dyeing, and everything was packed away.

The dyeing process, below. This is how I get accurate and concentrated colors without a lot of runny color mess.
After steaming, it gets a nice chilled bath in Eucalan lavender wool wash.
