I wanted to see what the Ashford looked like in person. It’s not like i need another wheel, I was just curious. Someday, maybe.
Meanwhile, in other fiber news, I have been using Kotimainen Liina for years. It was $17 per cone, and it’s now up to $34 for natural and $46 for black!!! Yikes, WTF? OK, looks like I’ll be going back to carpenter’s twine from the hardware store. Those are outrageous prices, but I’m glad I still have a few of each on hand.
