It was time to up my leather game and update my Schacht Matchless accessories in leather.
The first thing I’ve always wanted was a pair of treadle covers. Usually, I spin in my socked feet; but, I also have a pair of L.L.Bean moccasins that I wear. One thing that has always bothered me is seeing spinning wheels with dirty treadles from wearing outdoor shoes when spinning. It’s just a thing I have about that. These leather treadle covers fit perfectly:
Another accessory is a cover for the plexiglass cup holder that I got from FBN Plastics on Etsy back in May of 2009, and they are no longer making them. Here’s the new cover:
Next was a new fiber and tool bag:
It’s adjustable and removable. There’s also a cellphone pocket in the front under the flap.
How about a rear tool holder for things like whorls, extra Alan wrenches and those rarely-used necessities. It attaches in the rear, under the cup holder:
But, what about those important things like wheel oil and orifice hook? Yup, there’s a wet-formed pouch for that:
It’s lime getting a new wheel!
