Road Trip: Portsmouth, New Hampshire

Today’s road trip is to Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Let me just say that, because of the pandemic and quarantine, we’ll easily jump on a last-minute escape at the hint of a suggestion. Luckily, traveling around New England is super easy. Plus, we wanted fried clams, so the quest continues!

We both love beachcombing. You just never know what you’re going to find. Even if there’s nothing to be found, the exploration is fun.

We did find our fried clam lunch at Newick’s, and they did not disappoint.

We did do our part to help the local economy with purchases from a herb/tea shop, kitchen store, and the Village Silversmith.

We also found a shop that sold Corningware, my go-to dinnerware.

In all, the weather was fantastic, town wasn’t too crowded, and we had a lot of fun exploring the area.
