ALIENS IN MY GARDEN!

OMG! ALIENS!

Creatures from outer space!

Yes, I believe in aliens, but never expected to have a visitation in broad daylight in my garden.

While examining my pepper plants, I noticed that there were a number of these creatures infesting the plants. To my horror, I grabbed the camera and took a close up of THIS:

At first, I thought it was giving birth in the below photo to a mass of bugs. Come to find out, it was EATTING the bugs, which were aphids.

After investigating, the insects are useful, and are ladybug larvae, aka lady beetles.

We learned early-on in our first garden in Windsor, Connecticut, not to kill anything until we find out what it is. There was that time when I had bugs on a rue plant. They were monarch butterfly larvae.
