With all the produce we’re growing for the garden, preserving it is creating a whole new, and, unexpected challenge. Initially, we had no idea how many peppers we would get from a simple, single pepper plant. Wow, there’s a lot of produce coming.
Pickling is an option, but contamination and other factors has us concerned because of our lack of knowledge in that arena.
Dehydrating has some interesting possibilities. The machine itself also has possibilities for things other than just food. That’s going to be another topic for another post in the future.

They claim it’s silent, and it really is near-quiet. We also like the number of trays and options. This has so much potential for us as home growers.
