Today, we went for a hike at the Quabbin Reservoir, and to Hanks Meadow. Hanks Meadow is one of our favorite spots and we happened upon it accidentally. The first time we ever went, we were hiking around the edge. In the distance, I was curious about what was beyond a particular tree. It ended up being the little sand “beach” of the reservoir. Happy find, and now a favorite destination.
