In the new apartment the smaller space means more demand on the available space. There’s no office, and that need is now shared with the bedroom.
My office takes the Northwest wall and faces the apartment complex in back and the neighbor’s clothesline. Instead, I’m filling the windows with colorful baubles and plants. It’s becoming a comfortable place be anchored to for nine hours a day.
