Our country needs to come together to get this virus under control and get the economy back on track. I am desperately waiting to find out when I can get the vaccine. Bryan has had Round 1 and will get the second shot the first week in February. It’s going to be more than seven weeks from whenever I get my first shot. Once you get the first shot, you have to wait three weeks for the second. At the second, it’s another 28 days before you’re considered “immune”. That’s seven weeks. At this rate, it won’t be any time until summer or autumn.
Luckily, I have plenty of masks on hand, and LOTS of fabrics, fiber and all the tools and supplies I need to be quarantined for another long period. Hey, the last 13 months have almost flown by. It was an adjustment, but I’m coping much better. I just wish I had a better stove because I miss baking.
The mask shown above is made from one of those cheap flags you can get at the local market around the Fourth of July. I grabbed a few this past summer and made masks for the November voting.
